Facilitator: Hannah Johnson, Mental Health Clinician

Group Objectives:

This counseling group supports young neurodivergent adults, such as those with ADHD or Autism Spectrum Disorder, in developing self-acceptance, self-advocacy, and confidence. Many neurodivergent individuals face challenges related to self-esteem, social connection, and internalized stigma when navigating a predominantly neurotypical world. This group offers a structured, affirming environment for members to explore identity, share experiences, and build self-compassion.

As a result of participating in the group, each participant will

  • Learn more about themselves while building confidence and connection through real conversations, creative activities, and reflection.

  • Discover how different communication styles and sensory needs can actually help in understanding each other rather than being a barrier or hindrance.

  • Feel more confident embracing neurodivergent identities, advocating for their individual needs, and building relationships that are genuine and supportive.

Each group will consist of a max of 8 participation to maintain the privacy and integrity of smaller intimate groups. Guest and expert facilitators will be featured throughout the group to offer expert advise, answer questions and foster greater community among like experiences. Registration is ongoing! However, we encourage you to register as soon as possible to participate in the next group starting in February!

Woman 2 Woman: From Singleness to Sisterhood

The groups offered by RCW are named Transformed as this is the hopeful outcome of your experience in the group! Our Woman 2 Woman series is an empowerment group for single mothers. We encourage all ages of single mothers to come out for the valuable resources and wealth of information that will be offered at these sessions.

Regardless of what led to your singleness- divorce, death of a spouse, absent father, or planned singleness- there is a seat at the table for you! We only ask that you let us know you're coming so we can prepare for you.

This is an open group- you can attend as many sessions as you would like. Of course, we encourage you to attend them all! This group is offered once a month for 2 hours. We will engage in discussion and provide valuable information, as well as network and strengthen the community of single mothers. Please be on time.

Stay tuned for upcoming sessions!
